Maple Grove Mini Aussies is a small family breeding program in southwest Iowa. Our dogs are not only our pets, but members of our family. Our miniature Australian shepherds enjoy keeping us company on daily tasks such as checking the cattle, fixing fence, tagging along on a trail ride, or just hanging out on the couch in our free time.  

Maple Grove Mini Aussies are bred with the goal to create the ultimate companion that holds the athletic ability, herding instinct, structure, and intelligence of a full sized Aussie, only in a smaller package. Our puppies are raised around all aspects of the farm life and are all very well socialized prior to going to their new homes.

Our Aussies are all healthy and happy animals. We have a great working relationship with our local vet clinic who see our dogs on a regular basis, and our dogs have all had their genetic health panels complete as well as age appropriate OFA ratings, and  registered with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR) and American Kennel Club (AKC). While our dogs are all family first, we do also show and title our breeding dogs in conformation as well as some in Rally as well.
